After Season 8 you should move on to Dexter: New Blood. Then Dexter: Original Sin. And lastly Dexter: Resurrection.

Was Hannah's visit to Miami Metro REALLY about her 'doing the right thing'? Maybe...but I think I'd put a bit more money on her wantin' some more Dexter face time. It'll be interesting to see how that plays out. I loved how Quinn got called out so damn quick!! "You're not the only one that's a detective!" ๐คฃ It's crazy how that whole bartender suicide is quickly being uncovered--though maybe not yet proven--to be a setup to try and shake the PD. I mean, it WAS so obvious. And yeah, send Quinn back to the STRIP CLUB (or "clothes-optional dance club" if ya wanna be PC), cause you knowwww he's "all business", right?? Yeah...riiiiggghhhttt! He'll be there questioning some dancers while gettin' a "smoothie" from his stripp--oopse, sorry Quinn--dancer GF! ๐ So...is Deb really finally coming to terms with the REAL Dexter?? And if so, will she then get back to her very recent dilemma of whether or not she wants to bone him??? I don't think we've fully unpacked that thing yet. Maybe we did and I missed it?? Could be. I'm glad we got a little more Jamie this episode. Love Aimee Garcia! And since the whole Speltzer situation has been dealt with, we're left only with the Russians to sort out. Still haven't found Louis' (keep calling him Josh, though that is his REAL name!) body...and possible blood on Dex's boat. I wonder if Louis is sleeping with the fishes and all--or most of--Dex's victims?

2026-01-24 17:37:48 +0000 UTCAgreed, however I'd be fine with her skipping Original Sin. Wasn't great imo, I didn't need to see all the characters recasted and Mike Hall isn't even in it. Just my opinion. New Blood & Resurrection were great and continues the story. Original Sin didn't add anything imo.

I'm tired of convincing her that this is ok" made me kinda roll my eyes at you lol. That's what made this season so great, it pushed that moral question, is being a lawless vigilante ok? Regardless of whether he's killing bad people or not. And remember in a previous season, he was wrong in his "vetting" and killed an innocent person(remember the art dealer), and he allowed Trinity to live a long time because he thought he was a devoted family man & wanted to "learn from him". And if he was only doing it to save innocent people, he wouldn't take so much pleasure in it and collect trophies. As much as we love Dexter, and god knows we do, the fact is...Deb is right imo. That's what makes this show so great, the moral dilemma. That and the actors, especially Mike C Hall :-)

2026-01-23 08:45:27 +0000 UTCFor the question "why wouldnt he let him shoot himself in the mouth", it was like a courtesy, the temple is instant, the mouth tends to have alot more too it that you could potentially shortly feel depending on where you shoot.... I watch alot of true crime.

2026-01-23 07:04:09 +0000 UTCOk You is great.....but you wont be done with Dexter after season 8, you'll be done with "the original run" you might say, then youll have "Dexter New Blood" *which is 1 season, then youll have "Dexter Resurrection" the new series, its only 1 season but there will be a season 2 too. But yes You would be great....when you finish Resurrection ๐
