2025-11-18 00:52:23 +0000 UTCA classic. Great reaction and insight, Amber. This whole band is just a cut above the rest, the creme de la cream, album after album they always delivered. Now with that said. I've got just the song for you. I left a comment on your Instagram and it's Monday. Uffda. Monday. So. I'll leave you with this. 1. Have a Pure Rock Fury day and 2. Good morning, Amber, how are you and yours doing? I'd like to put a bug in ear for a band you've never reacted to. Clutch. This song contains everything you love about a song. Storytelling, arraignment, vocals and delivery, musicianship, harmonicas and organs, songs of overcoming and strength, and most of all good times! I give you...Clutch-Electric Worry. After you hear this band...You'll be as hooked liked I was in 1993 into Clutch! Take Care Amber - Here's the link: Don't need to open this one until you react to it. Oh, and they're a self-owned label...so it's YouTube safe. And the chorus, it's a sing along chorus and when you hear it, you're gonna do what I did. Hoot and holler like any good redneck should! 26 million views https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s4ABpbxIPFI First Verse: Fits us, we two perfectly, doesn't it with the shit we'd gone through in our marriages. [Intro] Well, you made me weep and you made me moan When you caused me to leave, child, my happy home But someday, baby, you ain't worry my life anymore PS-I think every male on this Patreon who has heard Clutch will agree. It's time for you to experience the world of Pure Rock Fury! Keep your horns held high and that volume knob cranked to 11! - SGT Rock

2025-11-17 12:26:12 +0000 UTCI remember when this album came out in my senior year in high school. Zeppelin's last album. Great marketing trick on this album. It came wrapped in brown paper hiding 1 of 4 possible album covers. People were buying multiple albums and then trading with friends and classmates to collect all 4 covers.

2025-11-15 23:20:43 +0000 UTCIt's funny how you did a Zep song today since last night I went to see JBLZE (Jason Bonham Led Zeppelin Evening). That was such a fantastic show. As this year marks the 50th anniversary of the Physical Graffiti album, that's what they did. What's great about the show, besides being a straight Led Zeppelin show, is that frequently Jason would come out from behind the drum kit to talk stories about his dad, most of which he got from others. He started out by saying that we all 'got it' way before him, since he was just a little boy back then, saying "to me, he was just...dad. It's not like he was in the Beatles!" 😂Then talked about how it wasn't until after he passed that he came to realize how great he was. On the front of his bass drum is a black and white drawing of his dad. He said he started this thing (JBLZE) 15yrs ago as a one-off to honor his dad and the music of Led Zeppelin--and here we are today! One of the funnier stories he told was how Ringo (Starr) used to tell him that every time his dad would go to LA, he would always go to his (Ringo's) house and throw him in the pool. "Every f***ing time!" Jimmy one time told him that his dad would sing, and when Jason didn't believe him, Jimmy said "ask your mum". So he did, and she said "YEAHHH! That was his lady time" When asked what he would sing, his mum said "Usually The Kinks". That's how THEY got together, Jason said "they started dating, then 18 months later...TADAHH!" His mom also used to tell his dad "If you keep hanging around with that Robert (Plant, of course), you'll never make any money!" They opened the show with the 1st track from the album: Custard Pie. Apparently, Zeppelin only did the song once live, it being a bit (understatement!) on the naughty side--the chorus is "...I chew on a piece of your custard pie...". It's a great song...dirty or otherwise. If the show ever hits near you next year--looks like they're on the eastern half of the US the rest of the year--It's a must for Zep fans!!
