Scary Movie 1-2 and the upcoming 6 (2026) are Wayans brothers creations. Scary Movie 3-5 involved David Zucker as a writer and/or director. Zucker was part of the Zucker, Abrahams, and (brother Jerry) Zucker filmmaker trio that created Kentucky Fried Movie, Airplane!, and the Naked Gun franchise. Actor Leslie Nielson (the president) is a frequent collaborator (Airplane!, Naked Gun, Scary Movie).

2025-10-29 06:03:09 +0000 UTCMany people have recommended Young Frankenstein for Spooktober. A great Mel Brooks comedy. Cloris Leachman that plays Mrs. Norris, plays Frau Blücher in Young Frankenstein. The Village is the movie with old fashioned clothing and Carmen Electra as the blind girl Holly and Chris Elliot as Ezekiel. It's another of M. Night Shyamalan's movies like Signs that was spoofed in Scary Movie 3. He also did The Sixth Sense.

If you've never seen the video, it's pretty funny. I'm with you on Saw, though I've seen the first one. That being said...that's where it ended for me, not my thing. I think the movie they were spoofing during that whole village sequence was, well, 'The Village' (2004) by M. Night Shyamalan, who also did The Sixth Sense. The whole Tyson ear thing was crazy! And that wasn't the Good Reverend Al Sharpton, that was Don King, the eccentric boxing promoter. All in all pretty funny
