　さて今回は雪美ちゃんのイラストですね。あのー本当に雪美ちゃんが好きなので描く頻度が高いです。今回は色々と意識しなおした箇所が普段より多かったので塗るのに少し時間がかかってしまいました。

　Well, this time, I'd like to show you an illustration of Yukimi-chan. Well, I really like Yukimi-chan, so I draw her frequently. This time, I had to rethink a lot of things, so it took me a little longer than usual to paint.

　基本的にどの部位も今回はハイライトと照り返しに力を入れています。今までのイラストよりもより細分化された光の描写を取り入れました。いつもGペンツールとぼかしツールのみで塗り進めているので流石にこの髪の塗りは時間かかりましたね...。でも確実に進化した塗りになっているのではないでしょうか。

　照り返しは光が差し込む方とは反対側にできる光の効果のことです。下の雪美ちゃんの写真だと、向かって左側の髪の水色のハイライトですね。青色の照り返しって屋外とかの方が見えやすいと思うんですけどまぁ綺麗なので描いています。プールとか海にいる時体の水面付近が青く光ってるああいうのです。

　Basically every part of the image is focused on highlights and illumination this time. I incorporated a more segmented depiction of light than in previous illustrations. I always use only the G-pen tool and the blur tool to paint, so it took me a long time to paint this hair.... But I think this is definitely an evolved paint job.

　Illumination is the effect of light on the opposite side of the light. In Yukimi's photo below, it is the light blue highlights in her hair on the left side facing you. I think the blue highlights are more visible outdoors, but they are beautiful, so I painted them in. When you are in a swimming pool or in the ocean, there is a blue glow near the surface of your body, something like that.

　今回は背景含めそういう照り返しなどの光の表現を豊かにしています。

さらに影で凹凸を表現するというよりも光で凹凸を表現しているところもあります。抽象的な言い方になってしまいますが、影が強いと深みがあってメリハリのあるイラストになります、逆に光が強いとふんわりとした印象になります。描くのは幼女さんなので光でふわふわした印象を与えることで、幼女さんの未熟で綺麗な体により柔らかそうな印象を持たせることができます。
