Small change to distribution and a talk

Since subscribing to a tier, $5 or $20, let's you see everything no matter when you subscribe, I'm going to switch to having everything in one folder for each tier. Over time as things start to become older, at around 3 months old I'm currently thinking, I'll start putting them into their own big seasonal folders that can be paid for separately. I'm doing this because I can pretty easily see on my end when people are trying to pirate my stuff (The spike in popularity is obvious guys!!!). Doing this will help me stop people from trying to steal my stuff. I know it won't stop it entirely, but it helps.

I do want to say, THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone following and subscribing to my stuff. I was really worried I'd be mostly ignored and that my hard work would go to waste. These animations take quite a while to make, let alone the days spent ENTIRELY on exporting alone, much longer than my uploading schedule would indicate. I'd been working and learning in the background for YEARS. So seeing my stuff get thousands of views, or that people are subscribing at all has been really great to see.

So with that said, I'll be honest, I wouldn't really care that much about the piracy if I was making a good amount of money from doing this. My initial goal for this has been $500 a month in total across all places. Not that that is a living wage here in the US, but it'll make this a whole lot easier to try to make this more of a full-time "job" so to speak, so that I can truly focus on this and keep doing this without worry. We all want me to be able to do this as long as possible right? I said I wouldn't care that much about piracy because... I get it? A million and one creators, plenty that ask for some ridiculous prices, not everyone is in a good spot right now, sometimes it's hard to tell if you'll even feel like it's worth the money till after you subscribe, and more. I get it, I really do. So let me say this:

I'm not at $500 a month. I'm under $200 this month so far.

So seeing more people try to get my stuff like this, than I have followers on social media... hurts me to say the least, emotionally and financially. I'm just one SINGULAR person trying to make things work out. $5 for all of this right now, or $20 for all the scenes too really isn't asking for too much right? Not meeting my goal puts me more and more at risk at having to animate less and more on working elsewhere. Everyone loses if I have to stop :/ I'm not really mad or anything, but y'know, I need a roof over my head.

Hell, I'm obviously very aware I'm not obliged to anyone's money, of course not, but distributing my stuff like this... sucks. And I realize it only takes one or two people to do this, I'm not blaming anyone else. I'm purposefully posting a lot, more than I maybe should be for free on social media, because I want everyone to be able to still enjoy the content, subscriber or not, in a pretty easy way. I just want to be able to be in a good enough spot to animate without worry. That's what I care about, animating and getting to share it with you guys.

TL;DR I just want to animate, piracy hurts me, I'm trying to be as kind and fair as possible, so cut me some slack so I can continue to animate in peace please? Fair enough?

Maybe I'm overreacting though, I'd appreciate your guys' thoughts. I'm sorry if this comes off as whiney or entitled. I just want to continue doing what I enjoy y'know? At the end of the day this doesn't change much for how anyone subscribing will get their rewards, nor what I post for free, it's just me trying to counteract piracy. And once again thank you all so much for your support ♥
