I was a bit uneasy about the buildup for Episode 2. It felt like it might overshadow Klara's arc, and that's the last thing I want. So I decided to trim it back and push most of that buildup into the next episode instead. It's better to let things breathe and fall where they naturally belong.
Now, about the new UI... it's still in limbo. Nowhere near done, and I've got no fresh news about it. So for now, we'll roll with the current setup and keep the focus on what's in front of us.
The good news? We've officially hit the final stretch of the episode. I was hoping to hit around 90% in renders by the end of the month—but it sucks to be human. Caught a nasty flu that had me drained for almost a week. Between that and working on a scene with multiple branches and different outcomes based on your earlier choices, things slowed down a bit. It's one of those complex, variable-heavy segments that take extra time to polish. We're nearing the endgame now, so I'm expecting more of these intricate scenes moving forward.
We keep throttling onwards!
Fingers crossed I can wrap up all the renders before November ends.
