So my Deviantart account got deactivated recently...

This isn't the first time I get blocked there for supposedly publicly posting content depicting underage characters. I've been actively sending messages to the support team asking for their help in determining which characters are considered underage by their rules, but the responses I get each time are very vague. And I suspect that the reason for this is that they themselves don't know.

I recently uploaded new pictures with Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgerunners. I thought that was a safe one to upload, since I've already uploaded a bunch with her long time ago, but one of them immediately got flagged for being underage, less than a minute after I uploaded it. She's not being depicted as underage, she's not underage by any canon and yet it got flagged as such, even though I haven't posted nor scheduled it yet.

So clearly the automated system they have for determining this sort of thing is very flawed, but still they will block a person without any sort of further investigation.

I also had two of my Pixiv accounts suspended before for posting, guess what, photorealistic images... Which isn't something I've ever done on that platform. In fact, both times I got blocked, was right after publishing some of my KDA Evelyn pictures.

I don't know what else to say. I'm so tired of this nonsense...

I sent an email to the support team, but I don't think they're even gonna respond this time.

I got a response from the support team.

They brought up my pictures of Alice in Wonderland, Nobara and Raven.

The pictures of Alice I posted are obviously the American Mcgee's version of Alice in Wonderland and she's canonically 22. Not to mention, that I didn't have anything explicit with her accessible publicly.

Nobara is 16 canonically, but she was clearly depicted as an adult and all the pictures I had with her were accessible only by subscribers, which should still be acceptable by the Deviantart policies, last time I checked.

Raven is a very complicated case. They insist for some reason that my pictures with her are the Teen Titans version of the character, even though to me she looks nothing like that version. Besides, there's been so many pictuers of Raven available on the platform from other creators, which made me believe it was safe to publish them.

They also completely ignored my questions regarding the deletion of pictures with Lucy from Cyberpunk Edgereunners and some other characters, which weren't breaking any policies.
