Ending of December and Next Year
Added 2025-12-17 21:43:50 +0000 UTCI've been thinking about what I want do differently next year and the main thing is make more original art. I understand a lot of you like my fan/parody art. However, feel I need to make more stuff with the characters I create, that includes pinups, comics, and possible animations. I enjoy making characters from different media but it can't be all of what I do especially if I want to grow more. I also have been disillusioned by a good number of popular characters because of the rampant AI slop.
Starting January, I'll be doing less suggestions (2 max), so I can finish the several characters I still have lined up from previous suggestions. I also will focus on my comic idea I recently been working on. I'll go over the comic more in another post.
Lastly commissions, I plan to open comms before the year ends, there will be 2 spots. After those, I plan to make character design commissions. I went to school for the purpose of creating characters and designs people can enjoy. I want to achieve that goal in some way.
I do hope you guys stick with me in this change. To anyone who leaves because of the change, I want to thank you for supporting this far.

All for the variety and the value to try different things, a lot of my favorite characters are ocs so I'm interested to see.

2025-12-18 00:31:46 +0000 UTCAI Slop really makes me lose interest in art. It's upsetting how common it is and those who push it are shameless. I'm all for you to do your own thing, with your own characters. Nothing says rewarding than to draw your character doing something in particular. Even mundane ideas feel great if it's your own character.

2025-12-17 22:45:20 +0000 UTCI was here mainly for the parody art but I think it's fair to want to do other things, and it's not like suggestions are going completely away, plus if you open commissions again it's another way to see it happen, I'd love to get a slot myself (hopefully I get one on time). Can't wait to see what you got in store for your own original art, and as for the slop, don't let it stop you from making whatever you want to make, it'll never have the same value as something with true effort put into it.
