[Bonus Drawing] Red and Lt. Surge! (WIP)
Added 2025-03-27 03:28:21 +0000 UTCI've gotten a few requests for more sketches and behind the scenes stuff lately, and while I can't commit to timelapses because my computer would cry, I'll try and share some first pass sketches every once in a while.
The first pass has Surge looking up and wearing pants, but I didn't really vibe with it. Looked kinda awkward.
Having his head down felt more organic and freed up some space to do a panel showing Red's stiffy unattended and desperate for attention :) I decided against Surge wearing pants so that that extra panel looked better. I was also gonna include another panel on the bottom right showing Red from an extra angle, but I didn't like it too much and dropped it. I'm probably just gonna fill the empty space with Red's backpack and clothes as part of the background.

Excellent decision making. A focus on Red's perky peen is a great choice.
