I will also be linking a character pool of everyone's suggestions so that you can see what characters are in the pot. It's not something I will be very pressed to update every time I get a new suggestion, it's just there if you wanna take a peek.

🍎 Quick Apple Thing

Really quick, just wanted to let those who use iOS know that the site will charge you an extra premium for subscribing through them. On top of that, that money gets withheld for two and a half whole months, which really sucks!

Thankfully 99% of you don't go through that, but I still encourage people to sign up literally anywhere else for both our sakes.

🛒 Shop Update

Last month I said I would be looking into a digital shop to sell past packs more easily. As it turns out, despite the shop feature being opened up to NSFW creators we aren't allowed to sell NSFW content on it at the moment. I'll still look into opening an itchio shop, but until that's up and running you can still DM me and ask to buy packs (don't forget your free monthly pack too!). They're $10 USD each and I'll send you an invoice, like a commission. Sorry for my slow, archaic ways of handling it, being a creator is hard 😩

🔧 Monthly Packs and the Messaging System

Finally, if you got the wrong pack or didn't get one at all, please DM me! The messenger has been really bad in the last few months.

Here's a more in-depth explanation, but honestly you don't have to read this. It's mostly frustrated rambling about this site's functionality:

This site's messenger system has been really annoying to navigate lately. It used to have an easy, efficient button that would filter every single patron who subscribed during a particular month. Ever since Apple's iOS changes, that button went away and now I have to filter by "Last charge date" (and specify the date range) and by tier to replicate that functionality.

If you cancel during the month, your tag in the system will change from a paid tier to a free member. Seemingly randomly, the filter system will sometimes include people who cancelled during the month, and other times leave them out (because of their free member tag). This is really annoying because I want to be able to send out to everyone who was a patron during a particular month. And if you downgraded during the month, the system will tag you as the downgraded tier even though you should be tagged as the original tier for that month, leading to people getting the incorrect packs.

Anyway, I've been trying to figure this out for a while and thought I had a handle on it, but today I sat down and manually went through everyone who had a membership change and there was still some who had the incorrect pack or none at all. It seems to be an issue where renewed memberships are tracked on the site in the UTC timezone, but when I go and use the filters on the messenger, it uses my local timezone? I'm not sure, but that's my current theory.

I'll add this manual check to my usual monthly duties, but if you ever don't get a pack or get the wrong one, please reach out! I'll be sure to include a brief notice about it in different places so it's more visible to everyone, too.
