Why the stabbing?

Turns out my optimism regarding my post-PAX illness was misplaced and I developed a pretty severe throat infection. Doc has me on some serious gear and I'm trying to make sure I hit the chapter targets, but, as you can already tell, they're going to be late.
No need to worry,, I'm already over the worst of it. With drugs and rest, I'll be right as rain in a day or two, but I figured the chaps were late enough that you deserved an explanation. :)

Though I would probably turn away people in masks if i were an event organizer. A way to get the money back or videos of each event being send per email would probably incentivice attendees to do the responsible thing. Maybe a thank you badge for staying home when sick? Make being responsible something to be proud of and being able gloat to others about? Getting respect for not f*cking over other people is sadly not something I see very often.
