I’m really frustrated that saves didn’t carry over in the latest version. But the bigger issue — and my biggest mistake — was the hidden choice menu. It caused the most confusion and questions from players, as you’ve probably seen in the comments.
I did my best to fix it quickly, but the saves broke again — for the second time. Unfortunately, such major changes are impossible without modifying the code, and I basically restructured the first three chapters from the ground up.
I want to sincerely apologize once again for the inconvenience and the time you had to spend replaying the game.
After these intense updates, I need to take a breath, clear my head, and then get to work on Chapter 5 with fresh energy.
