(IMPORTANT, PLEASE READ) Patreon Downsizing

Hey guys. So, this is coming after a lot of deliberation on my part, but I've decided that I'm going to downsize my patreon yet again, this time to just a simple tip jar. Everything else, the rewards, votes, and other features, I need to cut.

I'm making this change because, I've been trying to juggle my responsibilities between Cloud Meadow, Lab Zero, and some very big things happening IRL in my life, and it's just not working. I've been insanely stressed the past two months trying to balance it all, and I'm worried if I continue, I'll degrade until I'm not doing ANY work. And in that state, I'm just no good to anyone.

I'm downsizing to a tip jar, rather than outright deleting, because I do think I will return proper some time in the future. This way, once I do come back, things will be set up and ready to kick into high gear, rather than starting from square one. For anyone following this account as well, whether you're pledging or not, you'll be able to see any news or updates from me when the time comes as well, should that interest you.

I'm definitely not going to stop drawing on my own time, can't keep this old dog down after all, but right now with how my life is I don't feel like I'm able to pump out enough of these bigger, nicer pics that I've done in the past to justify anything more than just a tipjar. If you want to stick around with your pledge, that's incredibly appreciated, but if you want to delete your pledge, I completely understand, and I hope I'll see you again in the future. By the way, I'm still planning to finish the last PCI you all voted on, that's still coming.

Thank you so much for all your support thus far guys, it really has meant so much to me.

I know where you're coming from. I've actually contemplated the same for my page.

Understandable decision Diesel, and you still have my support and meager pledge. Don't wanna see you burn out.

CodeOfRibaldry

Nothing wrong with finding balance in your life. You still have my support!

Hope everything works out for you soon

I gotchu. Look DB, you're doing the right decision, the balance between workloads and your life is crucial, if it's off balance, do whatever you can and downsize, take a break, I'm always here to support, your art is always either funny and just so unique, my pledge is staying. Atleast you said something about it and didn't just leave with no words. If things come up that are important, deal with them first, it's what matters right now. I'm terrible at talking and to show how I think what you're doing is good. You're a great artist killin the game, I seriously look up to your art and success thus far, it's crazy. Honestly I've been going through a stage in drawing where I try to make everything perfect and I'm not having any fun, I want to go back to when it was fun and easy, it takes time and sorting to accomplish, take your time m8! I'm always here for ya :)

Dude, do whatever you gotta do to help take some stress off :) I haven't started supporting my fav artists yet but when i do I'll definitely tip you.

I HUGELY respect this over artists who let their patreons lapse but keep offering apologizes as patreons finally get the hint and eventually go away. This is exactly the right way to do this. I hope that the big things going on in your life are awesome and not shitty. I'm truly happy for your success, and any game that features your art is one worth watching. I just found you fairly recently, but your originality made me a quick fan. I'm gonna keep throwing a dollar your way for a while at least and when you're ready to come back, we'll be here. Thanks, man!

thank you, that really means a lot to me.

Thanks yo. Drawing's been tough the past few weeks, and I just wanna get back to enjoying it, and making work people like.

Sir you have my support and pledge. Stay sane

This was a very hard decision, as I WANT to keep putting out pieces like what I have been for the past few years, but im just not in a position where I can do so and not burn out.

Finding balance is difficult, but important! Do what you need to to keep yourself going w/o grinding yourself down

Work life balance is serious business. I think you're making the right call. 👍
