Hello! I'm pleased to introduce the release of Camp Pinewood Remix - Tech Demo. As I said earlier, I planned to release a small demo. Why:
- To check that the game will work at launch
- To showcase progress and character sprites
- To gather feedback on the design
What I still have to do before the final release:
- Optimization for Android
- Menu (Options/Save/Load)
- Refine character designs
What about the final first version? It is planned for release in September. It will have point-and-click movement, familiar from the first camp. Important! Obviously, drawing a large amount of content/making animations takes a lot of time. Since many ideas are taken from the first game and all characters/backgrounds are already drawn, the creation process will be much faster, and there will be more content.
What will happen after the first release/update schedule: Camp Pinewood Remix serves as a transitional link between a completely new game planned for next year. Update schedule: every month. The whole game (including the unfinished ending) will be 100% complete by next September. Then, there will be one big update (something like DLC) expanding the story and adding new characters. After that, a new game should immediately appear. I plan to avoid pauses between releases as it happened this time. Thank you for the support! This is just the beginning! <3
