you can convert all mp4 videos in folder images to ogv video files then then it works. lake monster loop fix is posted from manboyman a few comments higher. but the frankie quest loop i don't know how to fix

I enjoy the game, I'd really like some patches. I can get francine to ask for 'special help' but I don't get to see a picture. Also no animations run :/

Those are bugs I'm also familiar with. You can play an older version like 1.6 if you'd like, but I myself am waiting for a patch.

Hey I am new to the game, but I have seen a bit of it from vids and wanted to get it for myself. However I think something is wrong with my copy... characters I have seen in vids such as Gwen Tennyson wont appear, I cant have other chatting options with Velma or Anne. And most of all I think I am stuck.. I had a thing happen where I had 2 objectives that wont complete themelves.. one is to talk to frankie at the cabin and the other is about the lake monster, I fixed the lake monster one but the frankie bug still exists. Any help or advice on any of this would be appreciated.

Alright, I gave the scripts a second pass and... My god, test your game. A large number of blackout scenes exist where you address the correct OGV format, however these clips are shipped as MP4. Looking into the conditions of getting fresh with Possible's mom, this is logically locked away far as I can tell. I fixed almost all issues I could find, took about an hour. When releasing a game like this there's bound to be some logical flaws in quest progression and so on, but this amount? And with them having been pointed out by your followers repeatedly? Come on. These comments can be your debug messages, it seems you have been ignoring them.

This is not only on Mac, consult my comment above for the lake monster loop fix. I have since looked further into what else is fixed, this will also make raven appear in the theatre. The reason Francine's 'special' work scene doesn't appear is because of the video format and file name addressed in scripts (whenever you see a black scene or content missing, this is the mistake). You can apply the fix by converting from MP4 to OGV, but it's a known... I wouldn't call it a bug, just a failure to test really.

I played it and it skip like a bunch of story and animation. I just got lola and daphne in the camp but then it skipped all that and I was already at the end for some reason

There is a bug in the MAC version where you can't get pass the monster event. It just loops. Also any Francine scene just goes black

So the Android version has a bug that won't even let you get past the naming screen. It sounds like further in the story there's a game breaking bug, and what we've got to look forward to is more content?

To anyone running 1.9 and complaining that the lake monster loops; you can apply a fix yourself. I'm not sure if this fixes anything else, including Raven and so on... (I saw the variable he forgot to set checked in a few places) go to camp-1.9-pc/game and open a3fp.rpy with a text editor like notepad++ or atom which doesn't require carriage return to render newlines. On line 768 after the line '_p "Goodbye..."', insert on its own line (without single quotes) '$lmqst_finished = "True"'. Make sure it's aligned with the rest of the text, but don't use tabspaces. This took 2 minutes to find and fix for somebody who's NEVER used this engine before, with a free copy of powergrep. Vaultman, you might consider looking into what format your Francine video is in, and convert to OGV, as it's shipped in mp4 which is both wrong when you address the file in the scripts, and cannot be rendered by this engine (it appears).

Am I missing something? No animations are playing in the game, ever. I unpacked the APK, and I can see tons of assets, but no .ogv videos will play. Any Android specific fix required?

Agreed, There is a good handful of things that need fixed first.

I'll be honest, hope you feel better soon and all is well. But instead of increasing content at the current moment, I really do recommend you to fix the problems and bugs in the current game. No one is able to go pass the loops and there are plenty of other bugs that just ruins the game a little. So please try to get that fixed up instead of trying to meet your promises on update releases

Idk what kinda "medical condition" you have but you're seriously gonna lose whatever patrons you have left if the updates are continuously weeks late and containing literally nothing new.

Dunno if anyone has had the same issue w android but game straight up doesnt load past setting player name, same w last update.

Extremely disappointing as usual.

it's a great game on problem I'm having is wondering what the relationship level is because different versions have had a meter the Germans which relationships are what level between each girl and it's kind of hard to find out what the current version it makes it easier to play the game 2

There are new animations, I checked it in the files. But that doesn't really help when the game is bugged to where one can't progress.

Thanks for updating the game, and I understand the motive to get new content out, but if the content you already have isn't functioning properly, you should be working on fixing that rather than ignoring the issue and making more new stuffs. I hope you do feel better soon and hope the constructive criticism resolves your update issues!
