The voting is done. Again, I'm really happy and impressed with the creations that came out of this contest. Will likely do more in the future. Let me know if you have any cool ideas for specifics (like monsters only, cities only, stuff like that).

1st. with 582 votes: Anthemis https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Xnnm4D - Incredible artwork, worthy to be on a cover or hanging on a wall. Both Ilea and the Trakarov look terrifying and true to their power. The high quality and skill displayed in this creation are both superb.
2nd. with 394 votes: Hanzkingdom https://www.deviantart.com/hanzartwork/art/Azarinth-Healer-848267602 - If Azarinth Healer were a comic book, this would be the cover. The flow and momentum is near graspable in this artwork, giving life to the written characters with an atmospheric background and detailed gear.

3rd. with 365 votes: Anito https://www.artstation.com/artwork/288D4y - One monster introducing another to the downright poisonous effects of sugar, cream, and chocolate. Let's hope Elana doesn't turn out to be a secret baker, or the north would soon be overtaken.
4th. with 308 votes: MgcUsr https://www.artstation.com/artwork/Qrr1o4 - The style here is wonderful to look at. The Praetorians are sleek and deadly, soulless stares taking in the intruder clad in embers and ash.

5th. with 129 votes: Marmoset_Threat https://i.imgur.com/ZhdEUTw.png - Ilea's acid bath. The style chosen adds to the charm. The artist shows a deep understanding of the character at hand. One might wonder if those are sunglasses or if perhaps the Baron of Violence lent a hand to create a more diverse training regime.

2020-07-16 11:54:16 +0000 UTCI think it would be pretty cool to do one in which each artist represents Ilea as they imagined her and her ash during the story. For example, the ashen armor I imagined was pretty different from the one from you commission and sketches, and am ciruous on how other people imagined her too. Congrats to the winners and to everyone participating. Amazing job.
