Kupala Night is a Slavic celebration of ancient pagan origin marking the end of the summer solstice and the beginning of the harvest (midsummer).
It's time to celebrate the sun, love, and sexuality. I wanted to give you a taste of my culture and ordered this beautiful art, hope you like it ; v ;
(It happens on different dates in various Slavic countries, but we are close enough ;)

His family observed it in conjunction with the Feast of St. John, they were Catholics of Polish decent. He gave us this little tradition, we’d go down to the river, fish, barbecue, drink, and as the sun went down we’d renew our baptismal vows in the water. I’d almost forgot, I always called it St. John’s day but it was Kupala night he was talking about. That’s great Pink, thanks for that
