Today was the last super warm day of the season where I am. You can just feel it. Down here there is mid summer reprieve in the form of climbing elevation. So when I go out on the mountain it's actually the perfect temp when it's 90 degrees in town!

I love this time of year. Nothing is really shifting climate wise so my joints are not all fucked the fuck up. It's just this big slow amble into radiating sun and tall golden grass and ferns and sunflowers and welcome breeze and sweet fleeting moments and big moody afternoon clouds. I don't feel that pressure to move and be and do like the entrance into summer can create. Everything just is and I can let it be how it is. I took my sleeping pills two hours ago. I will go to bed now.
