It takes the same amount of time lol.
I found the reason why they are in black and white is to save money on ink and the artist has to do a lot of special things like using certain shades of grey and black to make things pop more and also they need to do a lot of hatching as well as change the style of lines entirely to reflect a manga style.
So Im just gonna color them to the best of my abilities.
