Alabama Hills (a sliver)

Hiii I am still technically off the grid, but I stole some wifi from a motel and want to share a preview of what’s to come. I took this 3 days ago in the Alabama Hills in CA. It feels like two weeks ago though. It’s been a whirlwind of a few days! I’m ok with it, as within a month I’ll be resting in Virginia for a couple of months. I already know it will be too short but I have more things to do later in the summer. Hope my body behaves... I think it will.

I really like this photo. I took it on a whim in my camp site while packing up to go. A crazy storm was billowing over the peaks, seen as the white clouds. It sounded like a dozen airplanes barreling over the mountaintops. It was crazy. The impending storm and its energy inspired some dynamic shapes. I rarely like B&W but it was fitting here so I’ll share both. Do you have a preference?

Ok I am going to shoot..... Only a couple more days til I’m back in civilization and can go to the gym to do my physical therapy on a stable floor instead of in the middle of the desert which is quite lovely but always struggle. After this I start my journey to the east coast.
