During the development process, we realized that Nora’s torture scene wasn’t as engaging or immersive as we had hoped. Because of this, we’ve decided to rework the scene to enhance its impact.
In the previous version, Nora’s eyes were covered, which made it difficult for players to see her emotional expressions. As a result, the scene lost some of its intensity and engagement. To address this, we are making adjustments to ensure her emotions are clearly conveyed, allowing players to connect with the moment more deeply.
While this requires significant reworking of multiple scenes, we believe it is a necessary step to improve the overall quality of the game. We’re working hard to implement these changes as efficiently as possible without compromising on quality, and we’ll continue to keep our supporters updated throughout the process.

2025-03-02 16:10:43 +0000 UTCHere we are, March, and this is the last "update" we have from the dev. I said it before here, and I'll say it again, I know development of any kind of game takes time. However, I have seen games, similar to the size and scope of this one, receive monthly or bi-monthly updates, and in a couple of cases, weekly, or bi-weekly updates, with only one or two people working on them, and if those developers need to delay an update, they give an actual reason, not the slew of excuses or blame their patrons for choosing what the next content should be. YES, there was was an update, where Hex, blamed Patrons for the content vote being the reason for 0.25s delay. EVEN THOUGH the Patron vote was ONLY FOR the next chapter, NOT what new features Hex added to the game while developing that chapter. Agent17 is a great game. But the lack of communication, and when we do get communication from Hex, It sounds like excuses for why the update is delayed. I have cancelled my subscription. if content release picks up, I'll consider renewing it. until then, I'll wait for the public releases, if/when, Agent17 ever gets them.

However, I believe many patreons want a regular update which means it is not necessary to be whole new contents, just a bit rework or little new things or maybe old things that left unattended should do the trick sometimes. As a dev (no matter how many people you have), you have rights to polish and make your game better but this is Patreon and many people are willing to pay continuously as "Monthly Supporters" to see the game's progress or exclusive contents, so they keep asking and losing patience everyday. If this delay keep going on and still happens in the future (including changing this, cutting that out from your previous decision), your game will not be finished and abandoned by us or even by you, yourself.
