Theo was on the sofa, relaxed, holding something in his hands. One of my panties. He brought it to his face casually, like it belonged there. I froze behind the doorway, heart pounding. Then I heard Nico’s voice, low and confused, as he stepped into the room.
Theo didn’t flinch. “Thanks for the idea of coming here,” he said to Nico, calm, like they were just catching up. “If you open your mind a little, you might find some fun too.” There was silence, and then a pause. “Hear that water running?” Theo added with a soft smile. “Why don’t you take your uncle a towel… and see what he’s really like.”
