I don’t like bringing work home with me, but sometimes there’s no other solution. The work was almost done, but my mind was still stuck on something else: Matthew.
I sighed and, without thinking too much, opened a new tab in the browser. “Give your friend a fantastic experience.” The ad appeared as if it was waiting for me. Red background, gold letters, and a blurry image. The page was… weird. “You don’t need to plan anything. You don’t need to buy anything else. Everything will be ready for you and your friend to spend an unforgettable evening.” There were no pictures of the product. Not a single review. Just a big button: “Buy Now - $45.” My finger moved before my brain processed the decision.
