Dev Update #24

I hope everyone is doing well.
I'm doing better now but last week was a rough week for me. I wasn't able to work on Ripples as much as I wanted because of some personal family stuff. Long story short, my brother's wife was in the hospital, and I had to take turns watching his kids while they were both up there. I had to take turns with my mom. She's out of hospital now and doing fine. Also, my grandma has been battling cancer for some time and is sadly towards the end of her fight and not doing well. She doesn't have much time left, so I've been trying to see her as much as I can lately. Sorry to bring the mood down, but I want to be transparent with you guys.
Anyways, for the past week, I've been working hard and trying to put more time than I usually would and staying up a little bit later at night. And I'm happy to say that I finish all dialogue and coding for Episode 4, besides sound and music for the last couple of scenes. In the last dev update, I talked about how I was thinking about squeezing in an additional scene in the episode. Well, after a lot of thinking, I decided to through with it. I think it's a great scene and it will add a little more spice to the episode and even it out more. This scene may not be for everyone, but it's optional. I personally like it a lot myself. The scene is already written and coded, I just need to do that art. So that's two scenes I need to do art for. One scene is bigger and one is smaller. So all that leaves is art and sound for those scenes. Then we can go to proofreading and testing.
We're almost there guys! I'm going to work hard to get this done faster and I'm sorry for the delays. I thought I would have a beta out by now. But I think it's a great episode and I'm excited to know what you guys think. I think I'm going to skip previews this time and save some of the mystery for when you play the episode, but this weekend I'm going to work on some sweet November customs renders for people with those tiers.
