Dev Update #18

Hello Patrons!

First I want to welcome all the new patrons and also say thank you so much for supporting! I am so thankful to have all of your support and am more than thrilled at how many people want to support this project of mine. I never thought I would get this level of support and thought I would be back at my old IT job by now, but nope! Losing my job during the pandemic might have been a blessing in disguise. Here I am a year after the first release and I am willing to see this project out for the long haul.  Yeah, I may not be earning the same amount of money as my old job, but I enjoy working on Ripples a lot more. If I need more money in the future, I can always go back to working in IT, but I'm fine as of right now and have money saved and made some good investments.

On the development side of things, I took a few days off after the public release and then got bored and came back and started prepping for episode 4 development. After every episode, I take an extensive look at my overall story script. Which is just a detailed overview of the whole story in a word document. Yes, the story is pretty much already written and has been before I started even started episode 1, but it is just a summary of events in every episode. Like what will happen, what the characters will talk about, and so on.  But the finer details are not there and after every episode, I add more and more detail and iron the story out more. This time, I spend like 4 or 5 days straight continuing on with that and making it very detailed and making sure I'm getting everything right and putting all the pieces in the correct spots. And since I've found that a lot of people really like certain characters, and want to see more, I have retrofitted more scenes of them into the story. These characters were originally only there for plot progression but you guys want to lewd every single character. I should've known. Haha!

I also already went to work on the first scene in Neo. The first scene (it's more like 3 scenes in one actually) is big and important and takes place in multiple environments. There will be some major progress in terms of the story/plot and some questions will be answered in episode 4.  I'm sorry it took a while for this progress update, but I felt there wasn't much done, it wasn't that important and I wanted to get more done before I updated everyone.
