Should this go full color?
Added 2016-02-02 08:31:52 +0000 UTCThe secret comics are a way to try out some ideas and just allow things to happen in a less restricted format. As Lynda and Singe tend to be head-writers, they also act as stand-ins for many of the comics. The actors can change, and the dialogue can be fitted to suit them as needed.
We are looking to make LynnVibeGiant into a new form, available here, and eventually for free! We are looking to cast Vikka as the main subject in this short comic.
Working on this one can impact time that can be spent on other secret comic pencil stages, but... higher quality, full color comics for everyone makes the world a better place overall.
What are your thoughts on this?

2016-03-04 06:50:17 +0000 UTCUsually these greyscale pencil drawings are where the experimentation things go. The full color comics have more production planning in them and a bit of editing. This particular comic seems like a good one to make into a refined color comic to me though. Also it's relatively short ;P

2016-02-03 02:01:51 +0000 UTCI have to agree with this. I think it's best to alternate between the short comics with new ideas and the longer continuity focused comics (Days of Random etc.). There's room for both but I'd rather have more polish put on the longer established comics.

2016-02-02 20:58:12 +0000 UTCI wanna say "Go for it", but if these comics are a way to try out new stuff, it might be a better idea to focus the production time on a project where you can put in the "lessons learned" from these experiments. You don't want to get overwhelmed by committing time cleaning up your experiments, when you could focus that time on more long-term projects.
