Travis had it all (and still does, really) - being an incredible galaxy brained student, and an all star quarterback. this was, of course, before he'd accepted his sexuality fully and started dating guys.
he may have even have been a better quarterback than his older brother, Trent, who usually won't admit that Travis was on par with him and potentially better... but will relinquish the praise when his younger brother isn't there to hear it. he was just as wowed by his performance on the field as everyone else.
