this is my odd contribution to valentine's day this year since I was more in the mood to do a comic than a spicy pinup. so the latest page in the vasukiverse series (I really want to make up some kind of catchy name that encompasses all of these comics but I am drawing such a blank) focuses on Damian and his dad, Nash, who is kind of a smartass and likes playing devil's advocate with his son... mostly because he enjoys pushing his buttons and seeing how he responds to things.

I have a bit of a fondness for Nash, slowly growing ever since I drew him for the first time several months ago. this comic kind of allows him to develop further. I'm pretty proud of this one tbh, it's not the most complicated or dynamic page I've done (that award probably goes to that weird marty consoling marshall page) but it is a very good characterization and back and forth between the two. it reads pretty well too. don't mean to over compliment myself but I'm kind of jazzed I'm getting back into comics again and they're a lot more "competent" this time around.
