brock's boxers

more of our favorite energetic emo dad, who maybe never quite grew up into your typical mild mannered father figure... but is still a very good dad nonetheless.

drawing brock seems to push me, it seems to energize me and make me draw more expressive faces and more high energy poses. I do this anyway sometimes, though since most of my art inspirations are rooted in character design concept art, I tend to default to a lot of standing poses, a lot of neutral action etc. there's also just been something super cathartic about listening to all this 00's emo music or 90's alt rock and channeling that into this character. stuff I grew up with, being able to turn that into something else. it's been really fun.

here we have brock just really belting it out into the mic, wearing only his boxers! I consider him to be a generally more modest lead, but he has a band mate that is prone to on stage nudity... and some of that exhibitionist energy is transferred to him in occasional shows. but he won't go beyond his boxers... at least I don't think. he's just having fun!
