hammer remake

this is a character I don't draw nearly as much as I should, as I'm not fond of the old art I've done of him, and its been a long process of trying to bring him into the modern era of my art. but! this does look a lot better, I can feel him kind of taking shape more and more as time passes.

the original pic is dated 2013, so 9 years... I distinctly drawing this hammer back in the day, and for a long time I considered it to be an okay pic of him. I can't believe it's already that old, since I now consider it to be pretty damn horrid lmao. but its fine, I've managed to upgrade him and modernize him pretty well. long gone are the sideburns! I will probably never draw them again, as I just do not consider them to look right on my newer way of drawing anthros. I think at the time I considered this to be a compromise between my desire to draw humans, and draw furries. now I just draw both separately!
