I don't know what to name this dude, if it isn't obvious. recently I was doing some experimental sketches of fantasy creatures - I usually like to make up my own - and I drew this weird six eared lizard thing. over the next couple weeks I refined him until I started drawing this on stream and... I think he has reached his final form!

yes, he has six - count 'em - six ears! all the better to hear you with. he can also move them all! so sometimes they can be folded back, or even perked further than they are here. I think this is sort of their neutral position.

by far one of the weirder anthro things I've drawn, I think? now and then my subject matter can get a little wacky, but this is probably the most out there I've gotten. I love to draw the basic mammals. wolves, foxes, mustelids. wolves are my specialty at this point you all know that. but man it's nice to cut loose and just make up something weird! I honestly don't even know what to call this species... I suppose I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

just hope you all have as much fun with this guy as I did drawing him! and, happy new year! I'm battling that post christmas depression...
