Added 2021-08-02 20:00:04 +0000 UTCyet another labor of love pic. this is definitely one of my most involved large scale group pics, though it is apparently not the one with the most characters. it feels like it though, this took so much time... three separate days of several hour long streams each. I'd say overall this took me a combined time of 18 hours? somewhere around there, I might be overestimating. anyway I feel accomplished!!!
love doing these big group pics of my boys. my attempts at comics are always a little spotty and I easily lose faith in committing to them, so it feels like these are my best chance at sorta conveying little stories with these characters. through these group illustrations I'm able to convey character relationships and interactions, if even just a glance.
kody is normally at chip's throat, he's a little jealous since he wanted to be team captain... and doesn't understand why a smaller guy would even get the spot (he doesn't like to acknowledge chip's galaxy brain), so it's a bit unusual to have him naked on his shoulders but his competitive nature overrides any of that. plus he has to show tre who's boss. first one to tumble over into the water loses!
