at the party

again you've found yourself in an unlikely place for a nerd - but somehow, you're well liked enough that through connections you wound up at this pool party of jocks; at the house of one of the most popular boys, no less. although all of the guys are pretty nice, you feel the atmosphere is a little oppressive. this world of football jocks is very different from your own and it's a little scary, whether they're friendly or not - so you've stepped outside for some fresh air.

the moment you pass the sliding glass door into the backyard you're greeted with a loud chorus of cheers - unapologetic and rowdy in tone - coming from the opposite end of the pool where some of the other guys are standing. your eyes follow their line of sight into the water where a nude silhouette is progressing toward your end, head above the water. you don't even have time to register who it is or what is really going on before the figure emerges, pulling himself up just a couple feet away. that's when it became clear: it was duke. and he was naked, completely! this must've been what they were cheering about.

to you he's always seemed a little scary. duke is definitely super popular around campus, and he has a bit of a smug aura. he's never once bothered you and you've even shared classes with him. he's very cute. there was one time he bumped you accidentally in the hall and immediately turned around to apologize... you recall being shocked at the sincerity. it was such a brief interaction but it stuck with you.

right now you're more aware of his cuteness than ever, and your vision is locked onto his bare body. time seems to be frozen even as your eyes wander over all that's available to them, which is everything. his cute face, modest chest, and the curve of what you can tell is an amazing butt.

"sup?" his voice is heard, bringing you back to reality and forcing your eyes away from his junk that was just shamelessly hanging there as he catches his breath at the edge of the pool. something about his face says he knew you were staring... and he doesn't seem offended at all! he maintains eye contact, sporting a small but kind smile before lifting himself out of the water.

first tre and now this! although this is definitely not your usual territory, these jocks don't seem too bad.
