I almost never do fanart (particularly furry fanart) and I'm not totally sure why I did this one? I pretty much never feel mushy for established IPs, even if I love them, their story, their world, etc. always someone who's very focused on their own OCs and world. but I grew up with star fox 64 and even though the franchise has been rocky, I think when its at its best it has really good and gripping character writing and plays with some really fun tropes. wolf particularly is one of my fav character tropes ever

I hesitated to post this because like I said its uncharacteristic of me to draw it lol and I don't want to give the impression I do draw this stuff a lot, so... I guess don't get used to it? but I did have fun with it. I kinda wanted to dial back the super grizzled "dad" imagery that so many people go with when they do fanart of this guy. these were really just warmups, trying something new to get the art juice flowing the other night.
