Another great episode and I agree with your assessment of what happened to these men

I am really leaning towards accidental fall for both of them. It's also a possibility that Joe k****d himself.

Not my original stuff, but it has become a channel stapel. It's from Felisyan Studios.

I think we should use the fact that you felt drained after the hike as information and conclude that this is a very tough hike. My adventure friend trained to climb Rainier, and if you knew my friend, you'd know that if she considered it something she had to train for, and not just do, you'd gather more information: the place is known to be hazardous. Then we have a birdwatcher with a heart condition and no map or food from New York City who decided to hike up a trail that he could not see because it was obscured by snow. I'm from Minnesota and I've walked on condensed snow during snow melt. On a 60 degree day, the snow is melting fast and there's a lot of water laying on top of the snow. The snow actually packs down to ice. Water on ice is the slipperiest thing there is. Couple that with a steep trail, and it's a matter of when, not if, you're going to slip and fall. The odds were stacked against Joe Wood. Maybe someone else will tackle Vincent Djie.

This is an exceptionally good episode. The drawings and music are well placed. I think the explanation of what happened to these men and why they weren't found rings true and logical. Thanks, Nick

sometimes I listen to these over again, just to hear the music. Is this Nick's original music? I would love to buy it!

Great video! I think you presented an explanation that makes sense and shows how two people can go missing there. Such a tragic pair of stories. RIP to both men.
Thanks for showing us the location. It really helps to see the trail. Can you show us more map location images as you’re hiking? Just a couple more would be helpful for orientation.
