I believe this will be laportas last season in charge due to the poor planning this summer -no left wing or cdm bought and wasted money on another Cam. He also hasnt managed to move on old players on big wages who are past their best gundogan, lewandowski, ter stegen. Who do you think is the strongest candidate to become barcas next president and do you think there could be a vote of no confidence during this coming season.

Apparently we have managed to find an investor for last year’s €40m but we still need to get this year’s €60m? What about the year after? Just worried we’re always going to be managing a shortfall and have trouble registering players year after year for the foreseeable

2024-08-14 22:03:13 +0000 UTCDani Olmo played a pivotal role in delivering the EUROs for Spain. Arguably an upgrade to Pedri who admittedly he came in for. Yet somehow it is such a horrible signing. Yes we have players who can play that position. But surely the pod will agree he is better than Fermin, at par or better than Pedri and long term better than Gundogan.. that being said I was never a fan of Olmo. Trust me..but surely it’s NOT as terrible a signing as the flavour of the OLMO INCOMING pod suggested. Yes the money should have been spent elsewhere. But if the players don’t want to come, what else is the club to do? ?? Actually I think if anything the Olmo signing was a statement signing but not in the way it may be interpreted on face value. But more from the perspective of signing a player that REALLY wants to be here!!! I will like to encourage the pod to not forget the essence of the pod that drew Cules like me to the pod.. Which I believe was to Stay Positive.. yes still be the brilliant journalists that you all are.. but please keep the spirit alive. Less Negativo.. we go to ESPN FC for that 😃😃 Visca Barça 💪

2024-08-14 21:50:23 +0000 UTCI was literally about to comment/ ask the question about your negativity on the Olmo signing, when I heard Ric comment on the fact that others have already challenged you on that. .. unpopular with the pod, this might be… but yeah I was getting concerned the pod was getting dragged down by the general mood in the club to the point that even what should be positivo subjects were somehow being spun off as a negativo by the pod…. the hiring of Flick, and signing of Olma are two stand out.. examples that come to mind..

Any thoughts on Atleti's transfer window and how the business they've done might impact their competitiveness in LaLiga this season? 3. Any final thoughts on why it seems like Barca won't sign Nico Williams this summer? Did he reject Barca because he was concerned they wouldn't be able to register him (like Dani Olmo)? Did Barca discard him?
