Arrggghhh gents...why do we do this again and again? This feels like a reprise of the Neymar/Coutinho/Dembele fiasco. Flush with cash, we panic and *have* to sign Coutinho, but can't, so we sign Dembele - for way more money than we should've. And today we want to sign Nico, but can't, so we sign Olmo - and almost instantly overspend the money we just made! Why is it so difficult for us simply to sit, save money, perhaps deal a player, and wait for the signing we want?
