Stands to reason this is fundamental for the growth and development of a young player on and off the pitch. Would the pod agree. And if so, who are we hoping will play that role for Lamine. Everyone seems to think Nico. However I would argue even Nico needs one. What do the pod think?

With all the injuries and players getting time off after the euros and copa and players missing for the Olympics the squad that Flick is currently training is virtual b team. Also how disastrous is this US tour going to be? A weak team has the potential to rack up some embarrassing results and given the high ticket prices I can’t imagine we will be too popular with the US crowds as none of our few remaining star players will be on show.

First Dest gets injured and any fee from PSV vanishes and we have to release him for free just to get him off the wage bill and now I see it is likely Torino is going to move on loan to West Ham meaning we won’t be seeing any sell on money from his transfer this summer. Thanks for clearifying the its not so easy to just sell a player. I know, of course beeing an eliteplayer myself. Not like Tonis "eliteplayer"experience"But Im also a Barcafan. So I can understand both perspectives. 1. In the game against germany we saw another Toni Kroos. Being a dirty player, who should have been sent off before 10 minutes, not the virtuosmidfielder we are used to wach.. In his last match for Germany! What happened there? Is this how he want to remembered? 2. The french was their usual boring selves.But they did one important thing. Mixing football and politics. With a world falling apart both in Ukrain and in Gaza it seemed like an important message to send. What do the panel think about mixing football and politics? Personally I think we need to do that now. With all the sportvashing going on. 3. How sure can we be getting Nico? I guess were not his only choice after his brilliant EC 4. How do see the barcamidfield being under Flick. Single or double pivot? With Chistense or Casado.I would love to see De Jong with Pedri or Gundogan. While we waitbfor the ressurection of Gavi. The competiv beast, to cite Lucho. 4. Last but not least; what do you expect happen in Madrid with clashing of two of footballs best but also biggest egos in the same team looming in the air.
