Surprised no one has raised the curse of Mick Jagger. Its well known that when Mick attends a match the team he is supporting invariably loses particularly with England at major tournaments (thankfully).

2023-10-30 21:14:58 +0000 UTCI am becoming increasingly concerned with Xavi. The football last season was dire but he gets a pass because we won La Liga from a difficult starting position. There seemed some brief hope that the playing style might improve with the games against Betis & Antwerp but things have regressed since then back to the same performance levels as before. Also his in game management is questionable and played a big part in the loss to Madrid. Surely Marc Guiu couldn't have offered less than Lewandowski and Lamine should have played on the right with Raphina on the left. Play your best players in their best positions and let the hard working journeyman like Raphina tough it out on the 'wrong' side.

I thought when he came on he played exactly the same as he does every game i.e. he does next to nothing. Every time I remember he signed a 4 year contract and we have another 2 seasons of this to look forward to at the end of this season my heart sinks.

Since I started listening to the pod we have had Rik giving substitutes lesser ratings because they weren't on long enough regardless of their contributions. Shouldn't players be rated on how they did with the time given instead of of comparing them to the players who played 90

2023-10-30 17:34:33 +0000 UTCHey guys. I read somewhere that we need 15m generated for fair play so we can sign Roque (I think it was Toni). I'm sure that UCL money is no longer accounted for in FFP. Will the money for wins and qualification from our group count towards this year's FFP for Roque?
