Question: Regarding Messi, Laporta did say that sometime there will be a tribute. With the MLS being a summer league, I can see the possibility of a loan being hashed out during a window transfer window. Probably not in 2024 but definitely in 2025. Economically, this can work unless La Liga changes the rules :) This can give Barca a boost with Champions league, etc. Something to keep track of. Thoughts?

What do you guys think? His playing style seems pretty perfect for me. And another young player I think is very interesting is Arda Güler. His style of play and creativity looks like he could fit into Barca. Any thoughts about him?

2023-06-14 19:07:30 +0000 UTCIt seems the Messi transfer hopes ended as a result of the club not being able to guarantee his registration. With all of these other transfer rumors (Zubimendi, Amrabat, Kimmich, Roque, etc) would we not run into similar registration problems? With Messi being a free transfer, wouldn’t his registration in theory have been “easier” than say a Zubimendi, whose fee + salary would have had to be accounted for? Is the solution really as simple as “sell players and then we’ll be able to make signings without registration issues”?
