Just seen that the Fair play rules might get temporarily relaxed. Any truth in this? It would be great news not just for Barca but La Liga in general to have respite even if it’s just for a transfer window or two.

I think when barca have there best 11 out they can compete with anyone but as soon as we have injuries the drop off is massive.

In the early 2000s we celebrated finishing 4th and were losing 5-0 to Malaga! Now winning La Liga with a 12 point advantage is now a bit ‘meh’ in comparison to winning a treble. 2. How is it fair that RM and Barcelona get treated so differently in terms of narrative? And why do you think that is? If Barca had won last night it would be been because RM don’t care about the Copa, just like the SuperCopa or Liga clásico, whereas a Barca defeat is a disaster.

2023-04-05 21:13:26 +0000 UTCAs I have previously mentioned on this forum I was utterly opposed to the signiing of Lewandowski. I said it was madness to throw so much of Barca's limited funds at a 34 year old. Given how poor he has been this season apart from the first few matches and particularly in the big games in which he is a non factor just how bad is he going to be for the next 3 seasons! He will be lucky to reach 20 league goals at this rate unless he can hit a few in off his standing leg as against Elche. Part of the reason Messi wont be coming back is the money tied up in this rapidly depreciating 'asset'.
