Serious qs: will Barca sell Ansu when summer comes? I saw that Infantino makes 42mill euro a year. This is before all the corruptionpayments of course. Will we ever experience a desent FIFA in our time? And the last one: What will it take to get Messi the last season? Must he play for a minisalary?

There is no way Barca will be able to get a significant fee for him after this season and they are dreaming if they are betting on this. Ansu is practically worthless in the market based on his season to date. Surely the only sensible option is to concentrate in rehabilitating him into the team. They need to play him through this dip by giving him minutes, continuity and confidence. I still think all things being equal he is the best bet for the left wing position available.

2023-03-22 19:30:33 +0000 UTCHow stupid are La Ligas FFP rules? They fail to prevent clubs getting into financial trouble but hamper there ability to get out of it. I can see some sense in restricting new signings and adding signicantly to the wage bill but preventing clubs putting youth products onto professional contracts is insane. Would Tebas rather Gavi and Pedri left for the premier league for free? At least with the first team professional contracts these players would be protected from sale by release clauses which would also allow the club to get significant transfer fees if they did decide to sell them to address their financial issues.
