And leaving a comment here i found very interesting from a fellow barcelona fan: „The rules are the rules. However I'm surprised it isn't highlighted more that La Liga waiting to reject the registration until almost the last possible minute is strange? They waited weeks in January and had nigh on 3 months before that to discuss it with Barcelona and did…..nothing.... Whether it was an administration error (cos it's Spain yo), or not it could certainly be argued legally that that delay was malicious in nature. If you knew four months ago why not tell them four months ago? If you knew when the window opened why not tell them then? Why wait? It really feels like they waited long enough to inflict maximum pain and give the club little chance to respond. I get the fan mentality of gloating at Barca's pain, but this isn't really a way any fan should want a league authority to act. You won't even work with a club to help them secure a talent and would allow a club in debt to lose even more money by letting one of its most lucrative assets leave for nothing? For what? It certainly seems petty, spiteful and borderline harassment to me. Add to that that Tebas consistently talking about the minutiae of Barcelona's financial situation publically seemingly every other week. That doesn't help either, we should all know what happens when it's leaked to the press a company is struggling…..suddenly assets are devalued etc etc. So Tebas' constant chat about them coupled with the circumstances around the timing of the announcement and I can kinda see why a court might look and say this isn't just rules are rules but constitutes more of a personal vendetta and harassment campaign over previous disagreements.“ What do you guys think?

Could he or the current course with the soft salary caps be challenged anytime in the light of the increasing imbalance between the EPL and the rest of Europe?

2023-02-05 22:00:12 +0000 UTCI still don’t understand how barca need to loose 200m off the wage bill considering how many big earners have left the club in recent years, Luis Suarez, Messi, Griezmann, Coutinho, Pique to name a few. this is all on top of barca gaining more revenue with attendance’s up and also the money gained from new sponsors and levers. I know the club have debt but doesn’t add up that we need to save 200m. Seems to me that Tebas is on a war path with barca and is wanting to hinder them at every opportunity.
