Do you think this will be a problem next summer without having to sell more? Surely this summer can only be a “one-off”? It’s all very confusing.

Is it purely because he is left sided? Surely it is not worth paying 15 million or more on him now and rather wait and sign him on a free next summer when Pique will likely have moved on or retired freeing up a space.

In Laporta's interview with the NY Times the article mentions that Laporta was on his way to meet with Goldman Sachs to "discuss a new financing arrangement". Are you all aware of what financing arrangement this might be? Andrea Agnelli, Florentino Pérez, and Laporta all reportedly met in Las Vegas to discuss the Super League. Any word on what their new plans are for the competition?
