Still a possibility that Grimaldo could be our new leftback? Could’nt he has the potential to be our new first choice left back? Or at least be a rotation player for many years. Seems to me as a much better choice than much older Marcos Alonso. And another option for the leftback, Sergio Gomez? He looks really promising to me, based on the little I’ve seen of him. 3. And finally, Pau Torres, left footed CB, could he be a possibility? Maybe cheaper than Kounde?

I keep hearing people saying he will do a good job for a couple of years but we will be paying him for 4! (including when he is 38). I hope I am wrong but this could be one of Barca's worst signings / deals ever up there with Griezmann.

Is it impossible now to keep transfers secret? Also do you guys know of any Spanish speaking Barca podcasts? I’m a Spanish teacher in the UK so as well as more Barca content for me, it would be great to use it as a resource. Great job with the pod, I find it particularly interesting when Toni is searching for a word in English as I find myself testing my knowledge to see if I’d translate it the same as you guys!

As in did the club feel a winger was most necessary, hence why Raphinha was brought in first (excluding the free transfers)? Personally, I would have liked to have seen Kounde signed before anyone else since we really need defensive reinforcements. Thanks for taking the time to answer questions; love the podcast!
