I agree too (Rik) but I think the Frankfurt game is really what soured the milk, still excited about the 'Xavi era' and really looking forward to seeing what he can do with a pre-season to work with the squad

Obvs the defeats dampened enthusiasm, but I am firmly putting the recent games in the end of the season category as opposed to anything too dramatic. Guess we will go into more analysis on this after the season. Ppg under Xavi should be v good when camping ends (SM)

2022-05-11 23:43:24 +0000 UTCWhile it's certainly understandable that recent performances have dampened enthusiasm, it's worth noting/remembering: if you take the points per game during Xavi's tenure and project it over 36 matches, it would be 82.5 points (more than Madrid's 81). For a full season, it would be 87 points (same as the last La Liga win in 18/19).
