But I’m genuinely having trouble thinking how Pique and Eric Garcia can cope with Vinicius’ pace and Benzema’s balling

Never thought I’d be okay with us losing a Clasico, but does Koeman get the sack if we get thrashed in it? I have a feeling that we will, knowing Ancelloti tends to play attacking football, knowing our defence SUCKS and even if we can cause them damage, I don’t think our tactics are good enough (if any) or defence having the mentality to hold onto leads against an attacking side. Don’t want it to get embarrassing as it’s the last thing the club and these young players need.

Gavi in need of rest? In the last two matches Gavi has lost a step or two after the half hour mark. This is totally understandable given his age and international duty commitments, yet I cannot help but wince knowing that Koeman is the person charged with overseeing his health and development. This is not a personal attack on Koeman, but a macro view of the context of Koeman's position as manager and the incentive structure of playing the kid more than he should. Pedri is a freak of economic physicality, and even he is now suffering muscle issues. Nico would do just fine in his stead or it forces you to play Roberto in his natural position. Obviously he (Gavi) starts in classico, but the man management here is unacceptable and a less glaring, but no less important, example of Koeman's ineptitude as a manager? Cheers from the States!

How bad is Umtiti? Just out of favor or really low level of play knowdays? I read he trains well, Pique defended him lately. Still there is consensus he is not at the level as before? Do you agree with that? How could somebody being a world champion become such a pariah? Such a strange case, makes people angry, sad and just tired of him..

Hi Guys, maybe that was done at the very beginning of the pod and I may started to listen later; - but can you introduce yourself in a bit more detail, what is your background, how did you ended up doing a barca podcast?

Do you think a 0-3 loss to Madrid would see Koeman getting the sack? If so, this needs to happen for the greater good.

At First, I’m totally aware of the fact, that uniqums such as Ansu Fati, Pedri and Gavi are playing a lot, and also ofcourse Nico has got minutes. BUT, How can it be that two of the biggest stars in La Masia over the last years, Riqui Puig and Alex Collado are getting NO chances to show their quality with the first team? After years when we have lost big talents such as Eric Garcia, Dani Olmo and Juan Larios, we have a couple of players, the best ones in their generation at La Masia, who more then anything want to succeed at Barca, and Collado did’nt at least got a shirt-number, while Puig just have some minutes as a substitution. Wich signal, and that is the most important thing, does it gives to the upcoming youngsters at the academy? I would also have liked to see Monchu getting a more fair chance, before he left.
