Could it be that Koeman did not get fired after the Atletico match, because Laporta is looking at the next period of difficult matches in the Champions League and La Liga, and fears that a new coach may be under massive pressure only after a few weeks, and will avoid it ? Will it be best to find a better time in the season and hire a long-term solution then, or should one fire Koeman, go for a temporary internal solution, and then hire a new coach from the summer?

As far as teaching, maybe Xavi. The team his is training does not have the ultimate talents but it is clear he has been able to teach the players. Eric ten Hag is interesting too with all the turnover at Ajax, they still play creatively.
