Yeh, we recorded before Bayern took Leipzig apart… I guess any slight optimism comes from the fact it’s early in the season etc, but yes, Bayern seem miles ahead at the moment, especially when you throw in Barca’s injury problems. 2021-09-13 08:55:48 +0000 UTCLove the optimism for Tuesday but I’m really concerned we’ll be embarrassed again. Bayern maybe 80% of what they were but are we 60% of what we were? The issues of winning the ball back quickly, controlling possession and territory haven’t yet been addressed and I couldn’t say our defensive strategy is improving either. I believe this group will be very tough for us. Sadly, but realistically I think that’s where we are at the moment. Benfica away is a bigger game than Bayern at home
