An interesting idea Gary, although I would like to point out Jody just featured four old vintage pieces on his channel. Having said that, within the last six months, I have picked up a couple of old Seiko dress watches, purchased as none runners. One needed a new battery, a polish and a new crystal. I also put a new strap on it an it looks as good as any of these watches at the 130 to 140 price range. The second had a dead movement, which I think I manage to source for around 15 Euros, a quick clean and a light polish, good as new. Both watches brought back from almost going in the bin, for next to nothing. So if the guy at The Vintage Japanese Watch Company is doing a similar thing, but making a living out of it, why not. At least he is bringing old Japanese pieces back to the market for guys that do not have the skills to rebuild these old watches. I just do it for fun, nothing more. So I say, go for it.
